My latest personal work. I try to get out of my comfort zone and make 3D character art. I wanted to challenge myself to create a production-ready 3d character, something like Blur Studio, Axis Studios, or Digic Pictures quality.
I started doing all the modeling in Maya, adding folds in ZBrush, creating a simple rig without proper paint weights just to quickly pose the character, then using blendshape to fix the shape to make it look good.
It is my first time using xgen to create hair. There were also many technical problems in the process. Texturing in Substance Painter, V-ray rendering and compositing in After Effects as usual.
